Federal workers’ compensation attorney, Alan Shapiro, understands the complexity of OWCP rules and regulations and knows how to help injured workers get the compensation they deserve.
Understanding OWCP
The Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) currently administers the Division of Federal Employees’ Compensation (DFEC), Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC), Division of Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation (DLHWC) and Division of Coal Mine Workers’ Compensation (DCMWC). The purpose of these agencies is to provide wage replacement benefits, medical treatment, vocational rehabilitation and other benefits to qualified workers or their dependents who experience work-related injury or occupational disease.
